TAP — Taiwan as Pioneer — is an interdisciplinary, cross-regional postdoc research network that promotes, structurally strengthens and connects Taiwan studies within Sinology. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and run by Trier University together with the University of Tübingen and Ruhr University Bochum.1
